Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU- game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng
) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives of the Faculty of International Studies, had a meeting to discuss expertise and cooperation opportunities with experts from the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) on June 27, 2024.
On the guest side, there was the participation of Mr. Timo Rinke - Chief Representative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Vietnam; Dr. Sidonie Wetzig - European Office (EU) and Dr. Stefania Benaglia - Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS).
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan welcomed representatives of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, as well as experts who visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accordingly, the two sides exchanged wishes and directions for cooperation in the coming time, affirming experience and expertise in implementing cooperation projects between the school and research institutes and international organizations.
European experts and lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also discussed the common concerns of Vietnam and the EU regarding the security and political situation in the Asia-Pacific region, the challenges to the integration process of the European Union in the current context, and the prospects for cooperation between Vietnam and the EU.
European experts shared an optimistic view on the integration and development process of the EU in the future and expected that the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the EU will achieve many achievements in many fields.
Sharing his joy at visiting and working at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Timo Rinke - Chief Representative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Vietnam, hoped that the two sides would soon have more specific exchanges in policy research and related issues in the field of social sciences and humanities. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung proposed options for exchanging scientists as well as supporting joint research between the parties.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung have developed a cooperative relationship since 2020 through coordinating a number of studies and organizing international scientific conferences.
