Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari shared: The Iranian Embassy always considers the University of Social Sciences and Humanities an important partner in organizing cultural exchange programs between the two countries. Through the exchange, the Ambassador expressed his wish for the school to continue to reopen courses on Persian Language and culture, spreading the good values of the beautiful country of Iran to Vietnamese young people. In the coming school year, Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari hopes that the two sides will coordinate to organize many conferences and publish joint research projects, not only limited to the fields of social sciences but also others.
It is known that the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vietnam and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed a cooperation agreement on education, training and development of Iranian studies in Vietnam in 2011. Accordingly, the two sides successfully organized 03 seminars on Vietnam-Iran relations (in 2011), a seminar on the great poet Sa'di (in 2015) and most recently a seminar on the influence of culture. In harmony with the jubilant atmosphere of the International Day of Happiness, the Iranian Embassy has trusted the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the address to organize the Program "Welcoming the New Year Nowruz and opening the Master's Iranian Miniature Painting Exhibition - Mahmoud Farschian". The event attracted the attention of many lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities who came to share and celebrate with friends from Iran. In 2009, UNESCO recognized Nowruz on the list of representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. UNESCO assessed Nowruz as promoting the values of peace and solidarity between generations and within families, as well as reconciliation and neighborliness.
