This is in line with the Turnbull Coalition Government’s Trans-Pacific Partnership strategy to enhance its bilateral relationship with Vietnam to enable both countries to work more closely together on a range of issues such as education, defence, training and tourism.
The Australian Government has provided financial assistance to enable the development of research management training program for delivery in Vietnam. The program is about the National Research and Innovation System in Vietnam which will be delivered to approximately 50-60 researchers in Hanoi in 21-22 May. It has been developed jointly by VNU- game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng and ARMS and covers the innovation process in Vietnam as well as the range of Science, Technology and Innovation policies and how these policies affect the social system in Vietnam.
The collaboration between ARMS and VNU- game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng will be celebrated at a signing ceremony at VNU on the 21st of May. The ceremony will be attended by Australian Ambassador H.E Mr Craig Chittick, ARMS President, Dr Campbell Thomson and Professor Pham Quang Minh, Rector, VNU- game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng .
“Australian Government’s commitment to support Vietnam in lifting level of research management skills which enable Vietnamese researchers to work with international and professional research organisations – Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E Mr Craig Chittick said”.
The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) is the professional society for research managers and administrators working throughout Australasia and Singapore. Since its founding in 1999, the ARMS network has grown to involve more than 2800 members from universities, research agencies and institutes, medical research institutes, R&D corporations, research centres, government departments, funding bodies, industrial R&D teams, service providers, commercialisation bodies and consultancies. “ARMS is pleased to be involved in this important initiative and confirms its willingness to take a leadership role in research management in the region” - ARMS President, Dr Campbell Thomson said.
