Signing MOU with St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria)

On January 14th, 2019, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh ( game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng 's Rector) on behalf of the University signed a memorandum of understanding with St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Also participating in the ceremony were Mrs. Marinela Petkova (Ambassador of Republic of Bulgaria to Vietnam), Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Thi Minh Hoa ( game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng 's Vice Rector), and representatives of game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng 's Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Vietnamese studies and language, Museum of Anthropology, Office for Cooperation and Development, and Office for Research Affairs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh sent his greetings to the delegation from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. The Rector said game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng is implementing the strategy of internationalization and expanding relations with international partners, including Bulgarian universities such as Sofia University. He hoped that through signing an MOU, the two universities will engage in fruitful cooperation through such programs as Eramus+ of the European Union. 

In response, Prof. Hristo Bondzholov (Rector of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo) expressed his gratefulness for game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng 's warm reception and thorough preparation. Apart from Eramus+, the two sides can also cooperate in other areas. St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo shall provide scholarships for game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng 's students to study in Bulgaria and support the compilation of a Vietnamese-Bulgarian dictionary. He said through building mutual trust the two sides can maintain long-term cooperation.

On behalf of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Vietnam, Ambassador Marinela Petkova said Vietnam and Bulgaria share traditional relations. Leaders of the two countries exchange high-level visits such as one paid by Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh to Bulgaria from December 3rd-5th, 2018. Mrs. Marilena Petkova said the cooperation between game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng and St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo contributes to Vietnam-Bulgaria bilateral relations. The Embassy of Bulgaria commits to support any projects or programs co-held by the two universities.

Next, leaders of the two sides signed on the MOU, according to which both universities will exchange up to two members of academic staff for a period of two weeks each; exchange administrative staff; participate in joint research activities and degree programs; exchange specialized literature; participate in international academic activities held by the contracting parties; conduct joint projects with outside funding; and hold cultural exchange, sport events, exhibitions, etc.

St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo was founded in 1963 at Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. It was ranked 16th among the 47 best higher education institutions in Bulgaria in 2018. It has 18.000 students and consists of 9 faculties: Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of History, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Modern Languages, Faculty of Orthodox Theology, Faculty of Philosophy, and Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.
