At the meeting, the two sides discussed about the Vietnam-Hungary bilateral cooperation up to now. Assoc. Prof. Dr Tran Viet Nghia talked about the achievements gained by game đánh chắn online đổi thưởng as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by the University in the current context of internationalization. Prof. Gabor Vargyas highly appreciated the achievements of the leading university in Vietnam in social sciences and humanities. He also promised to provide ample material and moral support for the University's development and internationalization.
Prof. Dr Gabor Vargyas is a famous scholar in Europe with in-depth studies on Vietnamese minorities. He can fluently speak the English, French, German and especially Bru languages. Together with Prof. George Condiminas (French), he is one of the two excellent field anthropologists that have made many intensive field trips to the Truong Son archipelago, Central Highlands, Vietnam. His hundred works have been published in English, German, French and Hungarian in the past 30 years.
Prof. Dr Gabor Vargyas
On the occassion of this visit, his first book was published in Vietnamese with the title Bất chấp định mệnh: Văn hóa và phong tục tập quán người Bru-Vân Kiều (In spite of destiny: culture and customs of Bru-Van Kieu) by Dan Tri Publishing House and East West Company in October, 2018. On October 17th, 2018, the conference "Rice, the Rice and Sickle Goddess: The Bru Land in the 80s (Quang Tri)” was held by L’Espace, École française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) and the Hungary's Embassy to Vietnam. From October 12th, 2018-January 31st, 2019 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology an exhibition "Gods, Ancestors and Priests" was held, featuring over 70 ethnological photos picked from thousands of photos captured by him in 30 years.
